Editorial line: Spin. is a social music app. Users share one track per day with the people they follow; the website informs about the app, its terms of use and its privacy practices. The media owner publishes no editorial content of its own.

Spin. stores content shared by users and is therefore a hosting service within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act, DSA).

Notice and action mechanism (Art. 16 DSA)

Allegedly illegal content and breaches of the terms of use can be reported, with or without an account, via the report form. In the app, “Report” is in the “…” menu of every post, comment and profile.

Data protection

The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is the provider named above. Details are set out in the privacy policy. Supervisory authority: Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.

Dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body under the Austrian Alternative Dispute Resolution Act (AStG). We try to resolve disagreements directly: hallo@1020.dev.

You can contest decisions about reported or removed content free of charge by email within six months; you may also turn to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under Art. 21 DSA, or to the courts.

Liability and copyright

Content shared via Spin. (captions, comments, profile details) originates from the respective users. We do not review it in advance, but remove illegal content without delay once we become aware of it (Section 16 E-Commerce Act, Art. 6 DSA). Cover artwork and track metadata come from Spotify and belong to their respective rights holders. All other content of this website and the app is protected by copyright.
